Cheering with the wolves

These wolves don’t howl – they cheer: Velero has been supporting the traditional club SC Blau-Weiß Wulfen in Dorsten, North Rhine-Westphalia, since 2021. “We are delighted to have a strong partner,” said Wulfen’s Youth Director Manfred Badde and Managing Director Sebastian Lorenz at the presentation of a cheque for 2,500 euros.

The Berlin-based real estate company has donated around 6,000 euros so far. Among other things, the donations were used to co-finance benches for the soccer pitch and the new spectator stand. A football/volleyball table was also purchased.

“We were impressed by the club’s overall concept and especially the Wulfen youth section,” explains Velero Managing Director Thomas Lange. Supporting small regional clubs underlines the asset manager’s strategy of making a difference where people like to live together – especially in small towns and colorful neighborhoods. In North Rhine-Westphalia, Velero has developed various existing buildings and manages numerous apartments in Wulfen.
