Courageous support in Wulfen

Basketball clubs are obliged to purchase retractable basketball hoops so that young players up to U12 can also score points. BSV Wulfen e. V. in Dorsten, North Rhine-Westphalia, also faced this financial challenge. The investment was almost impossible to make on their own – but together with other partners, Velero made the conversion of the hall possible. Thanks to the grant of €1,500, the new baskets could be inaugurated in January 2023.

Velero has already supported BSV Wulfen e. V. in the past – for example by subsidizing a defibrillator for the school and club sports hall. “Hopefully we will never need it. But if we do, it can save lives,” said the association in gratitude. The company donated around €2,400 for this important project.

In Dorsten-Wulfen, Velero manages numerous apartments and plays a key role in creating a liveable district. Supporting local associations also helps to improve community life in the area.
