Location

Bernsdorf is a small Saxon town in the district of Bautzen and is located around 11 km north of Kamenz and 14 km southwest of Hoyerswerda. The town has a population of around 6,300 and is surrounded by extensive forests at the very edge of the Upper Lusatian pond landscape. There is an elementary school, secondary school, secondary modern school, grammar school, day nursery, local transport links and shopping facilities nearby.
